I saw Pantera in a Dallas bar in 1992....and it was AWESOME...

You're lucky. I saw them in Cincinnati in 97 and Phil did nothing but stumble around, squeal like a pig, and not sing half the lyrics. Alcohol and heroin, they're a [censored].

The trendkill tour over all sucked IMO...that was a bad time for Pantera.

I like Coal Chamber...came out soon after Korn, so they were written off as a copycat band...Devildriver rocks tho. Eventhough trendkill has some songs I really like, I always looked at it as inferior to all their others. Over time, it has aged better than the others tho and evened the album up with the others tho...or it could be that is the only Pantera I never completely wore out...lol.

Coal Chamber had their moments. Loco was good. Their bass player was hot as hell too. Machine Head had a moment or two too, like Davidian.

Trendkill is my fav album

Did you hit the Superjoint thing in JC a couple years back?

I'm sure you'll have a good time. I'd love to see Pepper and Bower again and Windstien for the first time. I'm just not sure which Phil will show up. I'd rather not sit through "bad Phil" again.

With superjoint, Phil isn't the same for some reason...just my opinion, but I don't like to listen to them much at all.

They had 2-3 songs that were good, the rest of it was just pigs squealing.
